As a part of the Long Island Sound Partnership’s ongoing water quality monitoring program, IEC has been monitoring western Long Island Sound (WLIS) and the upper East River for 35 years. Our has joined the IEC to add inorganic carbon and total alkalinity measurements since October 2022.
